Licensing

If you’re using my music (or are planning to use it) in your project, I would love to know about this! Maybe I will even include your work on my website or will promote your projects in my social networks (if you want to). I would also love to get in touch with you and know more about what kind of music you might need for future projects.

If you have questions about the license, don’t hesitate to ask me and I will get in touch to clarify everything you want to know.

LICENSE:

In this context “music” refers to the music file that you’re buying and not to the composition per se. You can’t re-compose my music or use my melodies in a different context.

Purchasing a music file means that you are allowed to use it for ONE application. However, this application can be reproduced as many times as you want to. For example, if you’re a video producer and you buy a music file once this means that you could use it for one web video. This web video can be copied an unlimited amount of time. However, you can not use the music file for two different videos. An exception would be if those videos were different (but similar) versions of the same video.

What You Have To Do

If your project includes credits (like in a video game or in a movie), you need to include me in the credits (either as “Alice Hive” or as “Anna Eichenauer”).

What You Can Do

Film : You may use my music in any type of film.

Television : You may use my music for TV commercials, theme songs as background music, or any other possible use you can think of on TV.

Website : You may use my music on your website as background music or as a loop.

Radio: You may use my music as a jingle, background music, theme song, or as a single song by itself.

Podcasts: You may use my music for podcasts as a jingle, background music, theme songs, or as a single song by itself.

Video Games: You may use my music for any type of video game as background music, theme songs or for any other use inside a video game.

What You Can’t Do

You cannot sell or resell my music.

You cannot offer sub-licenses for my music.

You cannot offer my music as a download or provide my music for free to anyone else.

You cannot put my music on an audio CD (or any other medium) and sell it as “music” (it must be creatively used and included in another creative medium like a video, an audio book, a podcast, a video game…).

What You Don’t Need To Do

You don’t need to pay royalties for the music you have bought through this website!
